Las Cumbres Inn Surgical Retreat offers post-surgery recovery services to patients visiting Costa Rica for cosmetic, dental and eye surgery. During the recovery process, you will find yourself under the attentive care of our professional nurses and our highly trained staff.
Drawing on years of experience in patient care, our goal is to provide you with a quiet, nurturing environment in which to recover while we take care of all of the important details. Our visitors will be the first ones to tell you that we offer only the best in personal, hands-on care, and we invite you to read through our testimonials.
Our post-surgery program includes:
- Three fresh cooked daily meals (soft meals prepared for dental surgery patients).
- Specific, personal care as prescribed in your doctor's post-surgery instructions.
- Transportation to and from the airport, hospital and doctor's office.
- Licensed nurses and a complete medical support staff.
- For your convenience, our staff speaks English, French, German and Spanish.
During your stay at Las Cumbres Inn, we will be in constant contact with your doctor or dentist in order to properly supervise your entire recovery process. We take exceptional care of you!.

Deluxe Rooms
Las Cumbres is especially designed for post-operative care and ultimate comfort. Our deluxe accommodations offer additional conveniences for our guests.
All deluxe rooms are standard size rooms with 1 bed or 2 twin beds but with upgraded amenities. Deluxe rooms include private bath, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, and 79-channel cable TV with the addition of a refrigerator, coffee maker, stocked mini-bar and private direct high-speed cable internet access in your room. There is no charge for internet service.

Studio Deluxe
Las Cumbres Inn is the only surgery recovery inn in Costa Rica with a full staff of licensed nurses, excellent recovery facilities, first class amenities, and 24 hour medical care. Many doctors visit their post-op patients at Las Cumbres.
Our studio deluxe rooms have a private entrance, 1 queen or 2 full beds, large living room with sofa, private bath, mini-kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, stocked mini-bar, 79-channel cable TV, direct-dial telephone, in-room safe, and private direct high-speed cable internet access. There is no charge for internet service
Studio deluxe rooms are very comfortable and will accommodate up to 3 people.

Mini-suites
With a breathtaking view, wonderful pool, and out-of-this world home cooking, beautiful Las Cumbres Inn is unsurpassed.
Our mini-suites are larger than the standard or deluxe rooms and are located on the lower level adjacent to the pool area. Suite A has a private entrance, separate bedroom with 2 twin beds, separate living room with convertible sofa bed, private bath, mini-kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, stocked mini-bar, two 79-channel cable TVs, direct-dial telephone, in-room safe, and private direct high-speed cable internet access. There is no charge for internet service.
Suite B has a private entrance, separate bedroom with 1 full bed, separate living room with sofa, private bath, mini-kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, stocked mini-bar, two 79-channel cable TVs, direct-dial telephone, in-room safe, and private direct high-speed cable internet access. There is no charge for internet service.
Both suites are accessible to our beautiful outdoor pool, very comfortable and will accommodate up to 3 people.

Please keep in consideration that, when you come to Che Tica Ranch, you’ll find yourself in a true ranch surrounded by forest and rivers, in 80 acres, piece of Paradise!!
You will not be confined to a room in a big house and you are not going to be breathing contaminated city air.
Your recovery will be as important as your surgery and we, at Che Tica have a Commitment to Excellence, added to our pride on the business for over 10 years to guarantee a perfect harmony between, nature, your recovery and our service, while spending your days with us!!!!
Our prices include: airport transfers, transportation to doctor appointments, lodging and meals.
Since 1997 we have been charging the same daily rate, very proudly, we should say, because we have been able to maintain it, considering the high prices of gasoline, at almost $5.00/gallon ( August 2006 ) and the constant increase of the cost of living. All of our themed fully furnished cottages are large enough and different from each other and yet, we do not call them, de-luxe rooms or mini-suites or penthouse suites, just to get more money from you, our single flat rate of $75.00/day + 16.5% tax, is exactly the same price for any of our cottages!!! We do not have "talking walls" either, like rooms in a big house, your cottage is totally private and independent of each other and if you wish to share the company of other guests, you are welcome to come into our "Buena Vista Social Club" and enjoy, lunches, dinners, afternoon tea or just plain good times, reading, listening to your favorite music, watching a movie, playing a "big star singer" with our Karaoke or an interesting conversation!! For your convenience, we have now opened a gift shop with unique art work and crafts from local artists and a full gym is in construction with an all enclosed glass walls overlooking at the forest with the latest equipment!! Future plans for 2007: an all glass enclosed thermal swimming pool, jacuzzy and tennis court.

- (US obtained phone cards sometimes do not work properly in Costa Rica)
- Laundry $10.00 per load and Ironing $3.00 per piece.

- 1 Patient: $75.00/day + tax
- 2 patients: $140.00/day sharing the same cottage + tax
- 1 patient + 1 non-patient: $130.00 /day , sharing the same cottage + tax
- Extra non-surgical guests to a patient at $60.00/day including all meals.
Description of Taxes: 13% sales tax + 3.5% tourism tax
